- The Asia-Pacfic Broadcast Union formally presented the AMAI partnership to their members this November in Bali at their General Assembly. The Opening Ceremonies included a multimedia presentation highlighting HIV-related programming AMAI members have developed to date. www.abu.org.my
- On November 20, the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Center for Strategic and International Studies co-hosted a luncheon forum on the political developments in Zimbabwe, including its impact on the nation's strained health-care system. The Forum featured keynote remarks by Hopewell Rugoho Chin'ono, the Zimbabwean television journalist who received the overall 2008 CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Award as well as the Kaiser Family Foundation Award for Excellence in HIV/AIDS Reporting in Africa this summer.
